Educators in our Babies Room understand that childhood is a time to be, seek and make meaning of the world. We are committed to ensuring each child feels safe, secure and supported through building nurturing and caring relationships. We believe that relationships are crucial to building a sense of being, belonging and becoming so we strive to build strong connections between families, the centre and the community.
We understand that children’s identities, knowledge, understandings, capacities, skills and relationships change and develop as they grow so we combine conversations with families, together with home and centre observations to create an individualised program for every child to maximise their potential.
Our Toddler Room provides a warm and caring environment to extend on trust and well-being for the 2-3 1/2 year old age group. Educators focus on relationships, language, independence and negotiation techniques.
Children are encouraged to make positive choices and build nurturing relationships with peers and educators.
The Toddler room is an environment where children can feel supported while providing opportunities for children to explore through play. The Early Years Learning Framework is the base of our Curriculum where children are in control of their own learning. Family input is essential in building the foundations of development.
